Cancellation Policy

Karen Ford Cull agrees to provide skilled IEP Coaching and/or advocacy on behalf of your child. These services may include assisting you with understanding your child’s records; helping prepare a vision statement, draft goals; accompanying you to school meetings or mediation; drafting letters or complaints; helping you to identify additional resources, such as evaluators, consultants, or therapists; and providing other advocacy services. Services Not Covered by This Agreement: Although Karen Ford Cull offers skilled advocacy services, she is not held out as an expert in the fields of educational evaluation, psychology, law, or medicine. Karen Ford Cull cannot, in any circumstances, act as your attorney. Upon request, Karen Ford Cull will provide you with the names and contacts for special education attorneys. Client’s Responsibility: You agree to the following: a. Communicate fully with Karen Ford Cull, providing all information that would aid her in assisting you, b. With the assistance of Karen Ford Cull make good-faith efforts to communicate clearly in a polite and factual manner with school staff in order to pursue an appropriate education for your child; c. It is understood that you will inform Karen Ford Cull before hiring another professional, such as a special education attorney or another advocate. d. Make payments as provided in this Agreement. SDP payments will be returned to your FMS if not delivered. Confidentiality: Karen Ford Cull agrees to keep all client information and records confidential. In order to advocate on your behalf, I need permission from any party holding educational rights for your child. If you are not the primary educational rights holder please let me know. For all parents, at the initial consultation, the advocate will review records and will ask questions to understand your child’s needs, to learn about your concerns, and to help you identify the next steps in the process. Sessions will be invoiced at $150 per hour. No Guaranteed Results: Karen Ford Cull will act on your behalf in a courteous, conscientious, and careful manner at all times to seek solutions that are appropriate for your child. Karen Ford Cull cannot promise or guarantee any specific outcome or results.
